It's common for a primary tube in original Jeep manifolds to separate at the collector. Banks eliminates the possibility of cracking or separating with superior construction & materials. While other aftermarket suppliers typically use 304 or mild steel with coatings that quickly burn off, Banks builds Torque Tube Headers with rugged, 409 stainless steel. Flanges are welded to stand up to heat, stress and abuse. By increasing exhaust flow, Torque Tubes optimize the torque curve of the popular 4.0L Wrangler engine.
