Superwinch, Tree Trunk Protector, 2 in. X 8 ft. 20,000 lbs.

Off-road recovery rule number one is to never wrap a winch cable around a tree. Instead, use a Superwinch Tree Trunk Protector to prevent damage to the tree and to your cable. Superwinch Tree Trunk Protectors come in a variety of sizes which include a 1" X 8' long strap that handles loads up to 10,000 pounds, a 2" X 8' long strap that handles heavy loads up to 20,000 pounds, and a 4" X 8' long strap which handles heavy loads up to 30,000 pounds. These top-of-the-line Tree Trunk protectors allow you to use the strength of a tree root system as an anchor and use the trunk protector as a rigging strap to secure winch straps and D-rings. Superwinch Tree Trunk Protectors safely protects the tree and environment while utilizing the accessibility of nature to provide leverage and a winching anchor when available.
