The Omix Throttle Body Gasket is a direct replacement to help maintain the seal between the throttle body and the intake manifold. If a bad seal develops it can allow air to be pulled from outside the filtered zone and you could let contaminates into the combustion chamber. More contaminates, the more build up and loss of performance. Easy to change part found at the top of the engine.
