This intake features the 7 1/2" tall Pro-GUARD 7 oiled filter with 5-layers of progressive cotton media with 2-layers of non-woven synthetic media providing 99.7% cumulative efficiency for maximum filtration. The heavy duty 18 gauge steel heat shield is a one piece construction that is designed to block and dissipate any heat that could hinder the performance of the intake. The intake system is specifically designed for the Wrangler JL and mounts to factory locations with no modifications required for the installation.
