The factory mounting location of the steering stabilizer on Wrangler JK models is highly vulnerable to impact damage. It only takes one encounter with a trail obstacle to render the damper useless. This is exactly why JKS Manufacturing developed the Steering Stabilizer Relocation Bracket, which raises the mounting point on the axle to a much safer location. But what about the factory mounting point on the tie rod... is there a better alternative available? There is now.
