The Crown Automotive Throttle Body Spacer is designed to provide a smoother, faster, and more dense air charge into the Jeeps engine. Extending the length of the manifold by installing a passive device such as a throttle body spacer can help to achieve higher torque, horsepower and increased fuel economy, without having to steal power from anywhere else on the drive train. This 1" spacer is made for the 2.5L and 4.0L engines found in the Wrangler YJ, TJ and Cherokee XJ, and is constructed of a single aluminum billet. Gains can vary depending on drive train and other added components such as air intakes or hi-flow cat-back exhaust systems
