The Crown Automotive Transponder Rock Key is for the 98-06 Jeep vehicles that are equipped with the Transponder Sentry System, which shuts off the vehicle if the coded key is not detected within 10 seconds. Once the key is cut to match the original it can be coded to the computer. Keep as a spare or use as your primary key, the oversized head is comfortable to grip and is worthy of carrying the Jeep logo. SKIM can be programmed with up to 8 transponder keys. Please Note : Two Valid Transponder keys are required to Customer Program the SKIM to the new keys. If two valid keys are not available then the Secure Program Method must be performed by the dealership or service center
