This Diode Dynamics Stage Series 3" Round LED Pod helps you to add the right amount of light for your specific needs. State-of-the-art TIR optics provide a precisely focused beam pattern with optimal lighting efficiency. Alternative optics typically decrease output as much as 10% when the beam passes through the outer lens. The custom-molded TIR optics in the SS3-series LED pod acts as both the optic and the main lens. This provides an increase in output while making the pod more efficient. Several beam patterns from which to choose include Combo (Driving and Flood), Flood, SAE Fog, SAE Driving, and Spot. Two different LED's are utilized depending on the specific pod: Top-notch Luxeon Z ES or Osram HX Boost LED chips. These chips draw 14.5-watts (Standard), 36.9-watts (Pro), 38.5-watts (Max), and have an operating range of 9-16V.Manufactured from a durable, powder-coated aluminum housing that's built to last. The Polycarbonate lens is nearly unbreakable and designed for whatever you can throw at it! IP67 rated against dust and water ingress with an operating range of -40C to 85C (-40F to 185F). SAE J575 durability tested. Passive Pin-Fin heatsinks offer optimal cooling. All LED pods include a universal mounting bracket & Deutsch-style wire pigtail whether shown in the photo or not.
